PRIOR TO SURGERY

During the LASIK Procedure…
  1. Dr. Wasserman first creates a thin “flap” on the cornea using a special instrument called a microkeratome. Then he gently lifts the flap so he can treat the cornea.
  2. Using the VISX Star S4 IR laser with ActiveTrak™ Dr. Wasserman reshapes the curvature of your cornea to achieve your ideal correction.
  3. Dr. Wasserman returns the flap to its original position, and closely monitors each eye to ensure the flap heals properly.
